We were in a bad situation far from our home in Oregon. My daughter called a parts store in Cache Creek and they recommended this business. Our diesel truck threw a check engine light and than started loosing power. We called and talked to Jacob and he told us how to get the truck out of limp mode and get it into him to see what was going on. He checked the codes and said they indicated a fuel filter issue. We just had the fuel filter replaced 4 days ago during routine maintenance. He found some other things that it could be but it really didn't look like those. He did some more research and apparently found a loose fuel filter would do that too. Sure enough the fuel filter was not put on tight. He tightened it and so far the truck is running great. We so appreciate Jacob and would highly recommend him. Beings we are just passing through he could have charged us a lot as we were at his mercy. He saved our day and is very reasonably priced. Thank you again so much Jacob for taking care if us.

Recently I was on my way from Whistler to Kamloops to attend a celebration of life. Coming down into Lillooet my car began to sound sickly. I decided to have it hoisted so a mechanic could have a look. The shop was very busy, already having vehicles to attend to. But the kind manager (sorry, I didn’t get your name) had a chat with his coworker, Graham, and within minutes had my car up. It was determined that it was best to get back to Whistler and have my mechanic do the fix. They assured me that the drive back was safe to do. So, sadly I never made it to Kamloops but I’m relieved to know my car is once again healthy. Thank you so much! I highly recommend giving these people your business. And, you can buy eggs there as well! Also a shout out to the young guy behind the desk when I first arrived. Stay the course on your politeness! It means a lot! Bless you all! ><>

I can't recommend this company enough for all your backcountry recovery needs. My friend and I were on a multi-day dual sport adventure when his rear wheel bearings blew out, bringing our trip to an abrupt halt almost 30 km from the nearest paved road. Luckily, BCAA put us in touch with Iron Diesel. Although the information BCAA relayed to them was incomplete and inaccurate, once we had direct contact with Pat, the resourceful dispatcher at Iron Diesel, everything went smoothly. The next morning, Jake, the owner, came out himself in one of his bad-ass 4x4 rigs and got my buddy and his bike out without issue. Everyone we dealt with at Iron Diesel was a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond to help us out. Thank you all once again!

Best tow company experience! Bust a strut on our adventure, our bcaa claim got put through to iron diesel and I am ever so grateful they took it. The wonderful lady I finaly got to talk to in the phone took the time to make sure she knew where we were, that we had everything we would need to wait while they made sure they had the vehicle that could come get all four of us, our very broken truck and trailer at the same time. Had many laughs and cheers on our way home and the best snuggles from the drivers dog. I will HIGHLY recommend this company, they all went above and beyond to make sure we got home safe. Thank you all so very much at iron diesel!!!

I needed a tow from Cache Creek to Oliver. The truck breakdown had been hard enough; as a person with anxiety I fretted about riding 4+ hours with a complete stranger that far...add to that my fear of the Coquihalla road conditions in winter. Turned out I calmed right down and felt 100% secure in Dan's ride! The added bonus was his dog Snoop; what a sweetheart! Dan's kindness, careful driving habits and friendly nature ensured a pleasant experience during the ordeal with the truck during our trip. I can't thank Dan enough for making me feel safe! Great to get to know you, Dan- I hope you make it out to Alaska very soon!

This company is probably the best family run small business I've had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with in a long time. They came and rescued me and my family within 20 minutes of calling, and they were AFFORDABLE! Jake is extremely reasonable and I would go to him any day for help. His family is amazing and their dogs were a pleasure to meet. Our vehicle is in safe hands until we can afford to get it fixed (we were travelling to our new home so it wasn't a cost we were expecting). I have full trust in his knowledge in what needs done and you should too. Please do not hesitate to seek his help.

I have dealt with Jake twice. The first time I broke down on his doorstep. I was 4 hours from home and felt I was in a potentially expensive situation. He did not not take advantage of me and was very kind and helpful, his family too. They helped me get the problem fixed and back on the road. The second time I had him bulletproof a 6.0. He quoted me accurately for time and cost. I was amazed by how well and fast he had the job done with very little down time for my truck. Very rare to come by these days. If Jake says something, then he is good for it. I highly recommend Iron Diesel to everyone.

I was shown exact parts what was wrong with my car , I was informed on other complication and how things work. These people are absolute beauties. They go above and beyond. They found my car on the highway. When I parked it in pitch black to get in an ambulance to the hospital in Hope. They got it too me at the hospital the next morning without having the keys to it or the coordinates to where I left it. All I said was it was southbound hwy 1 near Kanaka bar. Turns out it was 21 km North past Boston Bar (nowhere near kanaka bar). I would recommend Iron Diesel to friends and family if they get stuck in the canyon. -Colin Vandenbossche

Had the pleasure of getting all my front end replaced on my ram 3500. Jake was fast and extremely fair priced. Not to mention a heart of gold. I wasn’t taken advantage of at all. Very family orientated and my children had a blast on the property while he hustled to get us on the road. This is single handed my the most down to earth and amazing mechanics shop in the area. Jacob was amazing and was a life saver as we were coming through town we broke down by the end of the day we were back on the road and trucking again! (And the best part it was a Sunday) this man and his family have an amazing business and friendly service they will drop everything when they see someone in dire need and make sure they are good to go. We were on a road trip home from BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver and as we were approaching Ashcroft, our battery light came on. Jake knew right away it was the alternator. He double checked to make sure and then had his girls order it from Cache Creek where they rushed it over in like 20 minutes. The work was done quick, we really only had time to go for a bite and a coffee and it was done. They did not overcharge! Wonderful people! Highly recommended!

Coming from Vancouver island the scenic route to Kelowna and broke down in Lytton. The owner came much quicker than expected and went above and beyond to get our very low car onto his deck truck and towed as all the way through to Kelowna. Awesome guy, took all the time to make sure no damage occurred to the car, made a stop for us to get dinner on the way. 100% would use him again and recommend his services either towing or for automotive repair.

I discovered Jake at Iron Diesel on Marketplace and bought some parts to repair my 6.0 diesel. I went to his business location to pick up parts and it was a great experience as he is extremely knowledgeable and professional. His passion for diesels is contagious. He stayed in contact and helped me troubleshoot other issues I had later on. I plan on dealing with him for all my diesel and fabrication needs. Highly recommend his services.
